We always try to use special parts from your clothing, whether its logos, motifs, buttons, pockets etc.

If using baby clothing then 9-16 items of clothing depending on how you want it to look.
Adults clothing can use 2+ items, depending on how you would like that to look. If you wanted to keep a logo off each top, then you would need 16 for an XL.
The size of the patchwork patches will vary depending on clothing, specifically the size of clothing and the design, for example of we are using a large tshirt and there is a nice design on the front we would like to keep this may take up 2, 3 of 4 patches to preserve that, and then we can add smaller patches around it.
If using a whole tshirt, shirt, dressing gown, jacket etc then there is a separate listing for that which is cheaper than the patchwork pillows.
Each memory ornament is unique and personal to you so we welcome your input on your desired completed look, just pop a note in with your order so we can create what you envision. Remember to quote your order number, along with a contact telephone number and email address if we need to contact you about your requests.

Personalisation is also available on these pillows for an additional price.
There are few different ways in which personalisation can be added and these are listed below (also take a look at the product photos for examples.
*vinyl
*Vinyl photo
*A sewn on patch with black embroidery around the edge. the patch can contain name, date, small quote in any colour.
* A stitched on heart made out of your material with the personalisation in the middle. This heart is perfect if you want the personalisation to stand on patterned fabric, or whether u want to add a nice contrast fabric onto the pillow.
* A stitched on embroidered heart (we order these in after you have purchased your order and told us the personalisation so please be mindful that this will delay production a bit).
**Please note** (colour of writing on on personalised products will be chosen by us to coordinate or contrast the clothing provided. However if you have a specific colour in mind then please pop a little note in with your clothing explaining any colours, or requests. Remember to note your order number on there and a contact number and/or email address so we can contact you if need be regarding your requests.
As an optional extra we also offer a voice speaker. to pop inside your pillow. Whether you have a voice recording of your lost loved one, or whether you would like to leave a personal message for yourself, or for whoever the pillow is for this recording speaker is a perfect personal touch. If you purchase one of these then immediately after purchase please send us an email containing the voice recording and your name and order number to info@mummabears.com
Social Media is a big part of our business, We like to create videos to remember your loved ones and showcase their precious items. Where possible we would love to hear about your loved one, or who these clothes belonged to and the memories they hold for you, so we can speak about it while we create a video for you. If this is something you would like to do and didn't mind taking 5 minutes, you could pop us a note in with your clothing. Some people even pop photos in. Everything will be returned with your completed bear. We understand social media isn't for everybody so If this is not something you would like to do, and would like to opt out of your item being posted on social media then please just pop a little note in with your clothing telling us so.
Need more than 5 pillows made? We offer discount on bulk orders. So 5 bears and under will need to be purchased individually, but anything over 5 then drop us a message and we will create a separate listing for you, depending on how many you want and the discount we can offer.
Local drop off or collection is welcomed.

HOW MANY ITEMS
These pillows use 2+ items of adult clothing, and this will depend on the size and style of item of course.
If using baby clothing then 5-9 items for standard pillow or 9-16 items of clothing depending on how you want it to look. Adults clothing can use 2+ items, depending on how you would like that to look. If you wanted to keep a logo off each top, then you would need 9 for a standard pillow and 16 for an XL.

Here at mumma bears cherished memories we have and do use most materials, including:
cotton, polyester, wool, fleece, flannel, jersey, linen, denim, corduroy, silk, satin.
We don't however work with heavy leather or pvc.

Each pillow is crafted individually by ourselves and not machines therefore no 2 bears would be exactly the same, and minor discrepancies may occur.
Fabrics and the quality of fabrics used can effect the pillows overall appearance, durability and size. Fabrics that were heavily worn and washed may not be as stable, same goes for fabrics which have wholes or cigarette burns in.
Also if your items have stains, faded areas or paint etc, sometimes these may not be avoided due to pattern placement and will add to the sentimental value of the item.
So please be aware when ordering that your pillow may differ slightly from any examples shown, and variations may occur do to what is discussed above.
Our pillows are keepsake ornamental items only and are not intended as a toy or suitable for any person under the age of 14. Although we use CE tested polyester stuffing, due to each item being created from your cherished fabric, each item cannot be CE tested therefore comes with this warning. POSTAGE & PACKING
Securely wrap up your clothing in anything you like, just make sure it is protected. If you have any special requests of how you would like your bear to look, please pop us a note either explaining in detail or drawing, this will ensure we can create what you envision to the best of our ability. As mentioned in the description if you are happy to pop a little note in explaining who they belonged to and the memories they hold that would mean so much to us.
Post your items along to the address provided after purchase.
It is advised to post your items using Royal Mail Special Delivery which is 24hrs tracked & signed for and fully insured up to £750. This is the safest option, though isn't essential. This is the service used to send your completed item/items back to you.

Your bear will be wrapped in bubble wrap and then boxed. If ordering more than 1 then they will share a box.
Local drop off and collection is also welcome.

Due to the bespoke and personal nature of these pillows we cannot accept any returns.

We know first hand how difficult it is to part with your sentimental clothing therefor we try to keep our turn around time as low as possible. In less busy times this is up to 3 weeks, however is typically done a lot sooner for smaller orders we do aim for a 1 week turn around.
During busy periods this can be longer than 3 weeks however this will be fully visible on our site before purchase.
